Founded by "WellnessPreneur" Tiana Allen, The Wellness Sanctuary, is a Center for Natural, Restorative Therapies.

Respectfully called "Tiana The Teacher," she earned 2 Undergraduate Degrees in Alternative Health and Behavioral Science, 3 Master's Degrees, an M.Ed. in Adult Education, Leadership, Learning and Organizational Development, an M.S./ABA in Clinical Behavior Analysis, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, and Organizational Psychology, and an MLS/LLM/Juris Master in American Law & Legal Studies. 

Other Certifications include: Ordained Minister & Christian Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Anxiety Specialist, Grief & Loss Education, and Crisis Counseling.

Integrating Alternative Healthcare with Behavior Counseling has been a great benefit for our clients at The Wellness Sanctuary. Tiana is a Licensed Health Practitioner, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT/CDT) holding Certifications in Lymphedema Management and Decongestive Therapy from The Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy www.NortonSchool.com. Her focus here is to provide restorative therapies to clients in recovery from reconstructive surgery, surviving cancer, autoimmune disorders & lymphatic disease.

Speaking of survivors, Tiana works with survivors of domestic, emotional and psychological abuse, along with families and couples. She produces a yearly event for women to discuss emotional wellness, while partnering with DMV organizations to provide beauty and spa services. She simply calls this event "Hey Lovely®"

 

Currently, Hey Lovely® offers a national, membership based, mentoring program for youth aged 13-24 and young adults 25-34. "Lovely Mentees" will be carefully matched with vetted mentors who can connect and mentor them through social-emotional learning, college support, gaining trade skills, on the job experience, business ownership and entrepreneurship training.

On top of this, Tiana is the founder of nonprofit organization, The Journey Institute of Wellness. TJIW, is a hub for Wellness Education. Here, community events are produced to bring awareness to important issues with health disparities, human rights and in education that affect women and people of color around the world.

Recently added programs include: The "Sanctuary Baby" Initiative to support good maternal health in expecting and new mothers and our NEW Hey Lovely® Global Initiative that will reach Lovely Mentees internationally!

Last but not least, there is The Creatively Successful® Consulting Firm. Here, Tiana consults with startup and experienced entrepreneurs. Her aim is to show practical strategies that businesses can use to have longevity in their companies. We also teach founders how to turn their God given talents into successful careers.
